Le pensioni sono un problema in molti paesi al mondo.
In Italia i governi che si sono succeduti oltre a non averle mai aumentate seriamente hanno spostato l'eta' pensionabile sempre piu' avanti.
Mio padre termino' di lavorare a 53 anni, altra epoca, oggi ce ne vogliono 67.
Anche a Cuba l'eta pensionabile e' stata spostata piu' avanti, a 65 anni per gli uomini e 63 per le donne.

Il problema, anche questo comune a molti paesi fra cui il nostro, e' che la cifra che lo stato elargisce si dimostra inadeguata in questo periodo di grande crisi economica.
Il nonno della mia famiglia di riferimento percepisce 1500 pesos, al cambio informale parliamo di 6 euro.

L'altro giorno leggevo un interessante articolo sul fatto che da inizio anno più di una cinquantina di atleti di alto livello hanno lasciato l'isola abbandonando le loro squadra in diverse parti del mondo e usando l'Inder (ente di stato preposto allo sport) come una compagnia aerea col biglietto per loro gratuito.
L'articolo non giustificava il fatto ma sottolineava come la carriera sportiva sia relativamente breve, poi arrivava il nulla.
Veniva messo in risalto come alcune Glorie dello cubano, ex atleti che hanno portato lustro e medaglie al paese negli anni precedenti se la stessero passando piuttosto male economicamente.

Quello che passa loro lo stato per il loro passato non e' sufficiente nella attuale contingenza.
Non si puo' neanche dire che abbiano in carriera sperperato i guadagni perche i guadagni non ci sono mai stati.
Ho un cassetto pieno di abbigliamento sportivo che ho acquistato da atleti che hanno fatto mondiali e giochi panamericani e che poi, al rientro, si sono venduti l'abbigliamento tecnico degli sponsor delle varie nazionali.

Certo, tutta la gente se la sta passando non bene ma chi ha portato lustro al paese credo, da uomo di sport quale sono, meriterebbe una vecchiaia un pochino piu' serena.
E' anche per questo che molti atleti se ne vanno, per cercare in qualche modo di monetizzare il loro talento in funzione degli anni in cui tutto sara' finito.

Questi sono casi limite ma il problema delle pensioni e' reale per tutta la popolazione avente diritto.
Il boss della mia famiglia di riferimento e' rientrato al lavoro dopo oltre un anno di pensione, passando dalle costruzioni al Ministero dell'Interno, dove in realta' ha sempre avuto un piede.
Non e' soltanto per un soldo suppletivo ma soprattutto per i vantaggi che lavorare per il Minint regala.

Con 3000 pesos di pensione non si campa o si campano pochi giorni e parliamo di uno che ha la figlia fuori dal paese che da' una mano come e quando puo'.
Un problema enorme e' proprio rappresentato da quegli anziani
che non hanno nessuno che li aiuti perche' con 1500 pesos di pensione che ci compri?
Come fai a campare?

In Italy, successive governments, in addition to never having seriously increased them, have moved the retirement age further and further forward.
My father finished working at 53, a different era, today it takes 67.

The problem, also common to many countries including ours, is that the amount given by the state proves inadequate in this period of great economic crisis.
The grandfather of my reference family receives 1500 pesos, at the informal exchange rate we are talking about 6 euros.

The other day I was reading an interesting article about the fact that since the beginning of the year more than fifty high-level athletes have left the island, abandoning their teams in different parts of the world and using the Inder (state body responsible for sport) like an airline with a free ticket for them.
The article did not justify the fact but underlined how a sporting career is relatively short, then nothing came.
It was highlighted how some Cuban Glories, former athletes who brought prestige and medals to the country in previous years, were doing quite badly financially.

What the state gives them for their past is not sufficient in the current contingency.
It cannot even be said that they have squandered their earnings during their career because the earnings never existed.
I have a drawer full of sportswear that I purchased from athletes who participated in the World Cup and Pan American Games and who then, upon their return, sold the technical clothing of the sponsors of the various national teams.

Of course, all the people are not having a good time but I believe that those who have brought prestige to the country, as a man of sport that I am, deserve a slightly more peaceful old age.
This is also why many athletes leave, to somehow try to monetize their talent for the years in which everything will be over.

These are borderline cases but the problem of pensions is real for the entire eligible population.
The boss of my reference family has returned to work after more than a year of retirement, moving from construction to the Ministry of the Interior, where in reality he has always had a foot.
It's not just for the extra money but above all for the advantages that working for Minint offers.

With 3000 pesos of pension you can't live or you can only live for a few days and we're talking about someone who has a daughter outside the country who helps out as and when he can.
A huge problem is represented by those elderly people
who have no one to help them because what can you buy with 1500 pesos of pension?
How do you make a living?
