Leggevo l'altro giorno di un sondaggio fatto a Cuba da parte di un non precisato sito,, Cubadata (sondaggista indipendente), con non precisate modalita'.
Il sondaggio chiedeva agli interpellati se volevano lasciare Cuba per tentare la sorte all'exterior.
Sempre secondo questo sito i risultati sono che il 57,5% degli “intervistati” ha risposto in modo positivo.
Cioe' sempre secondo questo sondaggio, quasi 6 cubani su 10 vorrebbero uscire dal paese.

Come sempre bisognerebbe vedere con che modalita' e' stato fatto, le cronache narrano che sono state interpellata 1776 persone, di queste il 77,4% aveva fra 22 e 55 anni, il 44% aveva studiato
all'universita', il 45% erano lavoratori statali.
La domanda era; “Negli ultimi 12 mesi qualche famigliare o conoscente e' emigrato da Cuba?”
L'81% degli intervistati ha risposto di si, allo stesso tempo l'86,9% ha condiviso la scelta di chi e' andato via.

Interrogati sui motivi che spingono le persone a lasciare l'isola una non precisata maggioranza avrebbe dichiarato che la causa principale e' la crisi
economica, poi e' venuta la mancanza di cibo quindi il fatto che non c'e' futuro nel paese.
A seguire la mancanza di medicinali e servizi sanitari, la mancanza di lavoro, la mancanza di liberta', la persecuzione politica, l'insicurezza e la violenza.

L'ultima domanda verteva sul dove questa gente avrebbe voluto emigrare, il 43,1% ha detto gli Stati Uniti, 13% Europa, 9,6% ovunque, altre destinazioni hanno raccolto meno e soltanto il 2,2%ha scelto un paese dell'America Latina.
Al di fuori di questo sondaggio comunque nell'ultimo anno sono arrivati negli Usa 224.607 cubani, una media di 615 al giorno.
Al di la' della dubbia veridicita' e serieta' di questo sondaggio (mi sarebbe piaciuto esserci mentre giravano per il barrio per farlo...) e' indubbio come una parte della popolazione cubana, non so pero' in che percentuale, potendo cercherebbe fortuna altrove.

Il dato riportato dal sondaggio che si riferiva all'eta' degli intervistati e' fuorviante perche' non si puo' mettere nello stesso calderone gente di 22 e di 55 anni.
Che i giovani, nella maggior parte dei casi se ne vogliano andare e' fatto acclarato.
Del resto sia in palestra in Italia che qua' in villaggio opero con dei ragazzi di 20 anni e giu' di li'.
Tutti o quasi, vista la situazione miseranda dell'impiego nel nostro
paese, di fronte ad una seria possibilita' di lavoro all'estero sarebbero pronti ad accettarlo anche domani.
Cuba non e' su Marte come mi piace spesso ricordare.

Il 55enne a Cuba oramai si e' creato il suo mondo, se e' furbo ha trovato il modo di mettere insieme il pranzo con la cena, e' difficile che scelga di andarsene rivoluzionando la propria vita ad una eta' dove la cosa puo' essere complicata.
Non dico che non succeda ma la cosa e' meno frequente.
Il giovane ci puo' stare vista come e' messa Cuba.

Aggiungo che, contrariamente a quanto scritto nel sondaggio a Cuba non manca il cibo, manca il denaro per correre dietro agli aumenti folli, questo si, ma il cibo non manca di certo.
Molti poi scelgono di andare e venire dal paese haciendo negocios di vari tipi, oppure di lavorare come matti per alcuni mesi per poi godersi il denaro a Cuba in quelli restanti.
Comunque questi sondaggi, a Cuba come in Italia, (ci azzeccano molto poco su qualunque argomento) non mi hanno mai convinto del tutto.

SURVEY

The other day I was reading about a survey done in Cuba by an unspecified site, Cubadata (independent pollster), with unspecified modalities.
The poll asked respondents if they wanted to leave Cuba to try their luck abroad.
Again according to this site, the results are that 57.5% of
“Interviewees” answered positively.
That is, again according to this survey, almost 6 out of 10 Cubans
they would like to leave the country.

As always, we need to see how it was done,
the chronicles narrate that 1776 people were questioned, of
these 77.4% were between 22 and 55 years old, 44% had studied
at university, 45% were state workers.
The question was; “In the last 12 months some family members or
acquaintance emigrated from Cuba?”
81% of respondents answered yes, at the same time 86.9%
shared the choice of who left.

Ask yourself why people leave the island one
an unspecified majority would have declared that the main cause is the economic crisis, then came the lack of food and then the fact that there is no future in the country.
Followed by the lack of medicines and health services, the lack of work, the lack of freedom, political persecution, insecurity and violence.

The last question was where these people would want
emigrate, 43.1% said the United States, 13% Europe, 9.6% everywhere, other destinations have collected less and only 2.2% chose a country in Latin America.
Out of this survey however over the last year I am
224,607 Cubans arrived in the US, an average of 615 a day.
Beyond the dubious veracity and seriousness of this survey (mi
would have liked to have been there as they went around the barrio to do it...)
it is undoubted as a part of the Cuban population, I don't know though
what percentage, if he could, would he seek his fortune elsewhere.

The data reported by the survey which referred to the age of the interviewees is misleading because people aged 22 and 55 cannot be put in the same cauldron.
That young people, in most cases, want to leave is
established fact.
After all, both in the gym in Italy and here in the village I work with gods
20 year olds and so.
All or almost all, given the miserable employment situation in ours
country, faced with a serious possibility of work abroad
they would be ready to accept it even tomorrow.
Cuba is not on Mars as I often like to remember.

The 55-year-old in Cuba has now created his own world, if he is smart he has found a way to combine lunch with dinner, it is difficult for him to choose to leave by revolutionizing his life at an age where it can be complicated.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it is less frequent.
The young man can be seen as Cuba is.

I would add that, contrary to what was written in the survey a
Cuba does not lack food, it lacks the money to run after the people
crazy increases, yes, but there is certainly no shortage of food.
Many then choose to come and go from the country haciendo negocios
of various types, or to work like crazy for a few months and then
enjoy the money in Cuba in the remaining ones.
However these polls, in Cuba as in Italy, (they get very little right on any topic) have never completely convinced me.
