Nel 1948 ben 8 Invincibili del Grande Torino firmarono un manifesto del PCI in cui si invitava a votare per la Repubblica.
"Siamo lavoratori e come tutti i lavoratori italiani voteremo per la Repubblica"

Questi erano i calciatori di allora, si definiva o Lavoratori come gli altri e come gli altri prendevano posizioni politiche e sociali.

Erano dei privilegiati ma lo erano infinitamente meno rispetto ai bambinoni viziati di oggi.

Uomini del loro tempo, anche grazie a gente così l'Italia seppe rialzarsi dalle disgrazie della guerra.

In 1948, 8 Invincibles of the Grande Torino signed a PCI manifesto inviting them to vote for the Republic.
"We are workers and like all Italian workers we will vote for the Republic"

These were the footballers of the time, they defined themselves as Workers like the others and took political and social positions like the others.

They were privileged but they were infinitely less so than today's spoiled big boys.

Men of their time, also thanks to people like this, Italy was able to recover from the misfortunes of war.
