Lucy Aharish, an Arab-Israeli news anchor sent an emotional message of unity and defiance in the wake of the Hamas terror attack in Israel. Hamas' brutal terrorist attacks on Israel are condemned as barbaric and inhumane.

The State of Israel is under attack.

Our beloved country is under attack.

We are under attack by a brutal, barbaric and inhuman terrorist organization.

Not an entity, not a government, not a leadership, but a terrorist organization.

Hamas has killed and slaughtered innocent babies, children, elderly, women and men in cold blood.

Hamas has fired thousands of rockets and missiles at innocent people, civilians, citizens of the sovereign state of Israel.

And we, the citizens of the State of Israel, all of us, right and left, secular and secular, Jews, Christians, Druze, Muslims, minorities and immigrants of the world are united in this fight.

We are fighting for our lives, for our future and most of all for the future of our children.

Make no mistake, we experience hardships, disagreements and major conflicts like any other country in this world.

But this does not mean that we will not protect ourselves and our children, our motherland.

I have never forgotten the evil I saw in the eyes of terrorists. So when people are telling me that what is happening in Israel is a lie, I cannot stay silent. It's not a lie. This is a horrible truth, a brutal truth, a disastrous truth.
