      For the record, I don't think the account owner is the scammer. He's been around for a fairly long time. I think his posting key has been hacked. The account is not powering down, so I hope that the stronger keys are still secure and he can regain control

      Thank you Steve. Yes, I am aware of this situation and I downvote to hopefully capture the attention of the account owner as quickly as possible. I can't help but think that this may have to do with the Steemauto scenario.

        Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about steemauto.

        I left a comment on one of his old posts and tagged/mentioned him in it, too. That's all I can think to do. Looks like it might be just his posting authority that's compromised, so (if he sees it) hopefully he can regain control before too much damage is done to his reputation.

        I also flagged and muted a similar comment in the steemlinks community.
