PhotoChain Challenge Edition 68 - Stripe And Animal

I had this strong urge to write a post for this week's Edition of the PhotoChain Challenge. For one, I would like to show just how enjoyable this contest can be, especially when the keywords are easy and there are a lot of photos to choose from with which to enter. Second, I wanted to showcase how this challenge stimulates the imagination moreso when the keywords are hard to find and some outside the box or unconventional thinking must be resorted to.

The keywords for this week are:

So now, I have to find a photo that has both Stripe and Animal. This is easy, right? Show a photo of a zebra and voila! You got it. Or a skunk with the white stripe on its back. Bingo. But what if there are no photos of striped animals? This is where the creativity aspect of this Challenge begins to take over. For instance, there are a lot of cats in the house but none have stripes. What to do? How about the photo below.

The shadow provides the stripes while the cats take care of the animal.

Or how about this one when one of our kittens snuggles down on my wife who just happens to wear a striped dress such as the one shown below.

And the kitten suddenly wakes up.

It is the Yuletide season now and people around the world celebrate it by giving gifts to love ones and friends. I saw one of our kittens playing with a box used for gifts.

And another one who seems to be reading what's written on the box.

I can go on and on but I have to stop now. I just hope I have conveyed to you the excitement of this Challenge and inspire you to try it out, especially this Edition which has quite easy keywords.
