Sister, that kerosene lamp was one thing almost all houses in our city had during the old days. Hahaha memories gyud kaayo. I used to love seeing this turned on during blackouts and seeing moths and other flying insects attracted to it and fly near the flame. 😄 That's right. Our Five Peso coins are copper based. The lamp was famous being used by out national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. Am I right or it's different?

I don't think they had kerosene then in the late 1800's. They used oil from lard, mostly. So I think this is a different lamp used by Jose Rizal.
