APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY CURATOR TEAM - FOR GAMES AND APP / MARCH 2025

Greetings to the Steemit Team and the Community,

We are really happy that the Steemit team is making this great opportunity available to developers again for the month of March.

@ilnegro and I, @girolamomarotta, are again presenting ourselves as curators to continue the work done so far as Team2 to develop Steem-Retrogames, the game platform on the Steem blockchain.

STEEM-RETROGAMES UTILITY

Our idea of creating a very simple game inspired by games of the past, is to attract the attention of new users who will need a new Steemit account to play.

Moreover, these kind of games are already very successful in other social networks, like TikTok for example, attracting many retrogaming enthusiasts and also young Gen Z and Gen Alfa members.

The existence of games designed for Steemit users also create engagement between existing users, making the whole platform more lively and active.

ABOUT THE GAME

Steem Retrogames is a new virtual space that aims to combine fun and interesting winning possibilities for all Steemit users.

The games are in Retrogaming style, inspired by the coin-ops of arcades and early home consoles, popular between the 1970s and the end of the last millennium.

Currently, you can play the Space Invasion game using your PC and you can play it in both free and paid versions.

The paid version requires the user of Steemit to purchase a game at a cost of 2 Steem and his goal will be to achieve the highest score on the leaderboard.

There are many prizes up for grabs: daily, weekly and monthly prizes, both for players with the highest score and for lucky players randomly selected by the system.

Steemit users playing Steem-Retrogames also create involvement among existing users, making the whole platform more lively and active.

1st MONTH OF CURATION

In the current month, February, with the curation as Team2, we have been able to test the game platform by continuously improving it thanks to the suggestions of the users who are supporting our project.

Every day we inform Steemit users by publishing a post on the daily, weekly and monthly data on the prizes distributed, the number of players, and the number of visits to the site.

In addition to the prizes on the Steem-Retrogames platform, we have created a competition to distribute further prizes to all players: a jackpot Steem and the first 3 winners will be beneficiaries of 40%, 20% and 10% of the next competition post.

Thanks to the curation in February, we are able to give more support to our users who support the project, and we distribute bigger rewards for the players.
