This photo expresses what was an afternoon full of many emotions with my little cousins on the beach, a day of lots of fun, lots of sun and especially lots of sea, we got on the boats that were anchored from the shore and jumped into the water. This photo expresses the moment of rest from running along the shore and jumping the ropes that were raised by the coming and going of the waves that took and brought the boats over and over again, it was an endless waltz. We fell many times, but we got up again, yes, all covered with wet sand and algae. It expresses the sensation that invaded each one of us when we saw how the afternoon began to crumble in front of us, to think that that magical afternoon on the beach was over, it was a cold current that extinguished all the fun fire that was in our bodies shivering from the cold of the water. A photograph that expresses how fun it is to have friends, play, laugh, run, jump and continue being children.
And to continue being children again is to continue dreaming of possible things, it is to continue wanting to jump those boat ropes even if you no longer have the energy to jump them. It is to feel the cold of the sea penetrate your bones, but in your spirit the fire is always alive. It is always wanting to sit on the sand to rest and smile.
