Glass beads for Photochain N 57

This is my entry for week #57 of the Photochain Challenge, run by @davidesimoncini. (Click the banner below for more details.) The current prompt suggests finding (or creating yourself) an image that combines 2 keywords: BATTERY and BEAD.

So, the ingredients. I have a handful of used AAA batteries that didnt go yet to a trash bin. Very handy - they benefitted me well when I composed the scene to shoot. Perhaps I would never end up where I finished if only I had one or two fresh ones.

I took a photo of some highly useful medicinal stuff... Can you guess what is it?

...these are balls of propolis, a byproduct of bees' hives. (It can be useful to chew it, when you fight with a flu). But they don't look as photogenic as the colorful glass beads, so I set them aside. My wife lended me a stash with her beads collection:

I wanted to make the high-key photographs, clean and shiny - and here we are. On one hand they became overexposed and not too much in details, but on another hand, got a nice artsy effect.
