First time playing Steem Retrogames, advice for developers

Hello steemian friends, on this occasion I will try for the first time to play a game called Steem Retrogames, this game is currently viral on the Steemit platform so I am interested in trying it. 🆓 Experiment in Free Mode

This game evokes fond memories of the classic 90s games that I used to play as a child. When I first opened the game page, I was immediately presented with a familiar classic look.

The walkthrough was quite clear, so I was able to start the game right away by pressing the "P" button to try out the free version. The controls are also quite easy to learn. The Space bar is used to shoot, the Up arrow to fire a laser, the right and left arrows to move the plane, and the Shift key to fire a large laser.

At first, I had a little trouble adapting to the controls, but over time I got used to it and became more agile in shooting the enemies scattered across the screen.

⚔️ Battling Germs and Bosses

The gameplay itself is very simple, but still addictive. We are invited to control an airplane flying in the sky and have to shoot at germs or enemies that get in the way. The more enemies you shoot, the higher your score will be.

Not only do I have to fight small enemies, but every few levels, I also have to face bosses that are large and have more lives.

Fighting these bosses was a challenge in itself, where I had to use special strategies to defeat them. One of the tricks I used was to press the space bar as fast as possible to fire as many shots as possible.

After playing for free a few times, I decided to buy tokens to try out the paid mode. This mode offers a more exciting gaming experience, where players' names will be listed on the player roster and have the opportunity to get on the scoreboard.

I tried my hardest to reach the highest level and get the highest score to get on the scoreboard. After many attempts, I managed to reach level 18 with a score in the 400s. Unfortunately, despite achieving a fairly high score, my name has yet to appear on the scoreboard.

📥 Suggestions for Game Development

Overall, I really enjoyed playing Steem Retrogames. The nostalgic sensation was very entertaining and made me remember my childhood. However, there are some suggestions that I would like to give for the future development of this game.

In my opinion, it would be nice if this game does not only provide one type of game. It would be more interesting if there were a variety of other games, for example 5 or 6 games with similar or different genres. That way, players won't feel bored and can try out the various challenges available.

Nevertheless, as the first game to arrive on the Steem platform this year this game has been a good and promising first step. I hope that the development team will continue to strive to improve the quality of this game to make it more interesting and challenging for players.
