I hope you all are doing well. This is my third post for this competition. Here I am going to talk about the visit to Anuradhapura.

In fact, most of the places in Anuradhapura are religious places of worship. Anuradhapura is the best place to visit for Buddhist temples. This is an ancient capital of Sri Lanka and is home to relics, rocks and stupas.

There are many places to go to during this city. Ruwanweli Seya, Sri Maha Bodhi, Thuparamaya, Isurumuniya, Abayagiriya, Jethavanaramaya and Samadhi Buddha statues are some of the prominent places.

Ruwanweli Seya also known as Swarnamali Seya, is the great stupa of the Buddhists. This is a marvelous creation of King Dutugemunu, one of the great kings of Sri Lanka at that time. This Seya is known as the largest Dagaba in the heart of Anuradhapura. There are four more insulated dagobas around the Ruwanweli Seya. This stupa is a place of great reverence that is revered and revered by all Buddhists.

Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is a very old tree in the Mahamevna Garden in Anuradhapura. This was brought to Sri Lanka by Sangamiththa theraniya from Buddhagaya, India. The Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi was taken care of by the kings, queens and Buddhist monks of Ceylon at that time. Although this is a Buddhist heritage, many people of other religions come to see it. Today, a golden fence and statues are built around the tree. The surroundings are very quiet and serene.

Isurumuniya is a temple made of stone and marble near Tissa Lake. This is a very beautiful place with architecture and sculptures. This is a wonderful creation of the artists of that time. There are several legends woven around Isurumuniya. Some say it has a history of Isurumuni lovers, the elephant pond and the royal family. However, this can be described as a beautiful place to visit when visiting Anuradhapura.
