I'm experiencing the same problem on Google Chrome that after I've cleared the browsing history etc.
However, I changed to Microsoft Edge and I am up and running.

I think that it might be the cached files creating an issue - although I've not experienced it myself which makes it tricky to diagnose. I see you've said that you've cleared Browsing History - did the cache go too? If you press CTRL+F5, does that help at all?

Microsoft Edge is just another browser.

I am back but noticed my browser doesn't show all options like for example 'exploring communities' I womder what more I can't see.
I noticed a different browser shows the old/different interface and I could use it to start a new commumity. Weird but at least that worked.
My son told me about microsoft edge he said not populare but better than Chrome. Let's hope it all works fine now, kind of stressful.
