Coastal Erosion Problem in Italy

Italy faces a significant coastal erosion problem, where both natural and anthropogenic factors contribute to the alarming rate of land loss. The coastline of Italy is an essential part of its economy, being a hub for tourism and vital infrastructure such as ports. Still, it is suffering from severe consequences such as loss of habitats, farmland, and property due to wave action and storm surges.
