I took a look at some news regarding current events, the world of stocks and the world of cryptocurrencies, below I report the three news that struck me the most.

1-Italy: Industrial Production

ISTAT is an Italian public body established in 1926. The acronym stands for National Institute of Statistics and deals with general economic surveys at a national level.
A few days ago, ISTAT data on industrial production in Italy were released and the data is not encouraging.
In December 2024, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production decreased by 3.1% compared to November.
NOTE: The seasonally adjusted index of industrial production is a measure that takes into account seasonal and calendar variations to provide a more accurate representation of underlying trends in industrial production.
Other data
In the fourth quarter of 2024, there was an average decrease of 1.2% compared to the previous three months
Overall, it seems that industrial production in 2024 decreased by 3.5% compared to 2023.
Conclusions:
Industrial production in Italy suffered a more marked decline in 2024 than in 2023, with a decrease of 3.5% in 2024 compared to 2.5% in 2023.

Personal considerations

It really seems that Italy has some problems at the industrial level. In 2023, the industrial decline was 2.5%, while in 2024 it was 3.5%. It seems that the industrial sector in Italy is really in difficulty. I don't think that in 2025 we will be able to recover what was lost in the last 2 years, but we can always hope that things will be less bad.

Setting the 1-year graph of Berkshire Hathaway, we note that the stock went from $443 to $470. Warren Buffet's company is something extraordinary. In 5 years it has been constantly growing. We could consider it one of the best stocks in the world.

Ethereum has had an annual performance that I would dare to call quite unexpected. While cryptocurrencies such as BTC, XRP, BNB, XLM have made more than 100%, Ethereum today has the same value as a year ago.

Ho dato un’occhiata ad alcune notizie che riguardano l’attualità, il mondo delle azioni ed il mondo delle criptovalute, qui di seguito riporto le tre notizie che mi hanno colpito di più.

1-Italia: Produzione industriale

L’ISTAT è un ente pubblico italiano istituito nel 1926. L’acronimo sta per Istituto nazionale di statistica e si occupa di indagini economiche generali a livello nazionale.
Qualche giorno fa sono usciti i dati ISTAT sulla produzione industriale in Italia ed i dati non sono incoraggianti.
A dicembre 2024, l'indice destagionalizzato della produzione industriale è diminuito del 3,1% rispetto a novembre.
NOTA: L'indice destagionalizzato della produzione industriale è una misura che tiene conto delle variazioni stagionali e di calendario per fornire una rappresentazione più accurata delle tendenze sottostanti nella produzione industriale.
Altri dati
Nella media del quarto trimestre 2024, si è registrata una flessione dell'1,2% rispetto ai tre mesi precedenti
A livello complessivo sembra che la produzione industriale del 2024 sia diminuita del 3,5% rispetto al 2023.
Conclusioni:
La produzione industriale in Italia ha subito una flessione più marcata nel 2024 rispetto al 2023, con una diminuzione del 3,5% nel 2024 rispetto al 2,5% nel 2023.

Considerazioni personali

Sembra proprio che l’Italia abbia qualche problema a livello industriale. Nel 2023 il calo industriale era stato del 2,5%, mentre nel 2024 è stato del 3,5%. Sembra che il settore industriale in Italia sia proprio in difficoltà. Non credo che in questo 2025 si riuscirà a recuperare ciò che si è perso negli ultimi 2 anni, però si può sempre sperare che vada meno peggio.

Impostando il grafico ad 1 anno di Berkshire Hathaway, notiamo che il titolo azionario è passato da 443$ a 470$. L’azienda di Warren Buffet è qualcosa di straordinario. In 5 anni è stata costantemente in crescita. Potremmo considerarla uno dei titoli azionari migliori al mondo.

Ethereum ha avuto una performance annuale che oserei definire alquanto inaspettata. Mentre criptomonete come BTC, XRP, BNB, XLM hanno fatto più del 100%, Ethereum oggi ha lo stesso valore di un anno fa.
