10 buoni motivi per battere il mio record su Steem Retrogames - 10 good reasons to beat my record on Steem Retrogames [MULTILANGUAGE]

The big laser only works if an entire group arrives but not always plus the arror key up is too close to the (pause/shift) ☹️ Shooting goes faster.

I asked a daughter to play she's a great gamer and not impressed (I just read her review, can't answer the questions).

I will ask my son to try it out again (he has 2 keyboards old one + also a Dragon) and the youngest daughter.

I will give some more tries and see if it crashes again. First I will try out if other games (she suggested Cartoon Network) make the pc crash as well.

Is there a strategy? Can you see the upper part of the game on your screen?

It works fine on my laptop - I’m planning to write a few tips when I get enough time.

The laser has a usage bar so when it runs out, you need to wait for it to charge up again. If you can’t see the top of the game, then maybe you can’t see this!

Where’s her review? I don’t know your daughter’s username.

It’s definitely different to the original Space Invaders so takes a bit of getting used to. I think some of the game mechanics can certainly be improved upon.

I better understand how you lose a life now so some of my seemingly random deaths make some sense (albeit illogical sense).

I had three children test it and although they are not all top gamers (only one is) they describe the same issues and one had trouble with the laptop when firing the screen moved upwards. She could only play if if set at 80%, with me it was 90% to see the full game which means a field of 5 x 6 centimetres.

BTW if the three are right we could say the game is plagiarism - bits from here and there. I posted the review of my son

I look forward reading your review.

P.s I will post the review of one daughter and the other might do it herself or I will or not (for sure we will be called the crazy family)

they describe the same issues and one had trouble with the laptop when firing the screen moved upwards

That makes sense now. It's because when you're browsing a website, "Spacebar" is the equivalent to scrolling down. So if the webpage that the game is on is taller than the browser window, pressing spacebar will scroll the page down.

I'll leave the developers to worry about the rest of it 🙂 It sounds like the game might have a memory leak so ends up crashing the browser.

The plagiarism is interesting. It's "Space Invaders" but not. Which presumably Atari own the license too. So I can't say for sure.

I'll read your review properly later 🙂
