As users increase their power, they convert their Steem into Steem Power (SP). Steem Power has several important benefits on the platform, such as increased voting power. With more Steem Power, the votes we cast on other people’s content will have greater value. This means we can provide more support to other creators on the platform and vice versa.
The higher the Steem Power we have, the greater the potential income from curation. When we upvote a popular post or comment, we are entitled to a portion of the curation rewards generated by that content. With more Steem Power, users will gain a stronger position in the community. They will be seen as having more experience and financial backing that can be used to push quality content and help Steemit grow.
Greater power over an account allows users to have greater influence. Every time we post or comment on something, others are more likely to see it because of our voting power. Steem Power provides additional protection for your account. The more SP you have, the less likely your account is to be abused. Overall, upgrading a Steemit account is an important step in increasing influence, income, and security as part of the Steemit community.
Here are my steps to do today's power up, the first thing I want to say is that the total amount of my Steam power before doing the power up was 1,155 SP
So I immediately opened my wallet to do a power up of 20 steem that I got from my post a few days ago, I collected it little by little with the aim of doing the power up
After I finished boosting 20 steem, finally my steem had reached 1,175 SP. I have a personal target that next year I will have at least 2000 SP as soon as possible so I have to be enthusiastic again to make posts and do power ups again.
