Hi Alex, watercolor is a great tool for experiment for kids as they can try different technique, mixing on watercolour paper and also sometimes adding fine salt or using sponge will create nice pattern. I like how your daughter mixed and let the colours flow on paper creating such random mixture. I would advice slight more water and adding the colours on two different ends the colours will mix themselves. She should not afraid spoiling it just go ahead!
