Early Morning Sun

I could have said Early morning son or sons there either, as my three, five and eight year old boys ensure that I regularly see the early morning sun coming regardless of season! Last night my youngest was into me at 4am talking all about superheroes with determination and excitement in his eyes, so I quickly managed to ease him back to sleep aided by Josh Ritter in the background. Declan O'Rourke and Damien Rice are another couple of favourites for this function.

The sun rises amd sunsets are beautiful this time of year with gorgeous colour configurations and the further towards summer we get, the more we see as we have zero to two octas of cloud coverage, meaning we can see the sun clearly. Here's some shots before I left the house:

So, I commute around one day a week for work and because I travel East in the mornings and West in the evenings, I always face the sunrises and sunsets, which is fantastic. I'll keep an eye out for any spectacular ones in the coming months and share them with you here, in fact I'm working in Dublin tomorrow and there is to be clear skies, so who knows I might capture some good shots sooner rather than later.

It's amazing the beauty we can find in the everyday if we just open our eyes and remove the distractions like phones, screens, thoughts even. Nature is full of beauty and lessons, we just need to open up our awareness and notice and appreciate them, often the things we are looking for are right in front of our eyes.
