Our Maker with Attitude in EDAT Academy 6/17 (Gabriel Lozada)

I am Gabriel Lozada, I am 28 years old and I am originally from Barinas-Venezuela. Before entering the EDAT academy I was finishing my studies to qualify for the title of #architect at the #UniversidaddeLosAndes; apart from that I am also a regular contributor to @espacioplibertad; I have personal concerns that address the field of #arts, which is why I also attended various seminars related to artistic work.

I use part of my time to explore various media in which I intersect #photography, the generation of objects and the intervention of elements found with #narratives. I also have interests in the field of #ObjectiveDesign, more specifically in #furniture design. I am a co-founder of a design studio called AG space Design Studio; We have an Instagram profile where we share our individual and collaborative proposals. @agspacestudio

Seeing this, it was natural that when I found out about the EDAT I wanted to apply since I realized that I could enrich my searches and interests by learning new tools and other processes for the generation of design proposals in an objectual scope; broaden my spectrum in the labor field and make proposals that add value and increase the quality of life for human beings. Now that I am a regular student, I am satisfied with the faculty, clearly perceiving that they are committed professionals who stand out in their areas in addition to the pleasant learning experience; I am grateful and eager to learn all that this institution has to offer.

Gabriel is one of the 17 students who won a scholarship to attend the first year of maker training at EDAT. Our projects are convinced that the best way to combat poverty is through education. In fact our slogan as an academy is "hope through creativity"

My name is Abrahma Tansini. Graphic designer and illustrator. I am part of the team that carries out the EDAT project in Mérida-Venzuela. In fact I am the professor of the subject of analytical drawing, that studies the basic principles of drawing, composition and human anatomy. Drawing is an essential resource to communicate our ideas.
