Hello Steemian's

Assalam Alaikum friends. How are you? I hope you are all well. I am here to participate in this wonderful contest of WORLD OF XPILAR community in which I have tried to make a great post and share it.

I live in Punjab province of Pakistan and our city name is Bhakkar and about 40 km from Bhakkar there is a city called Dera Ismail Khan which is located in another province, which is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. While going there, we have to cross a river and the name of this river is Sindh.

Friends, I went with my friend to the city which I mentioned to you as Dera Ismail Khan for a test. During this travel, I would like to share with you about the bridge over the river.

Bridge

It was built about 60 years ago and the engineers were imported from China. These Chinese engineers built it very skillfully. The bridge is quite long.

The special thing about this bridge is that it connects the two provinces. On its left side is the province of Punjab and on its left side is the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Dera Ismail Khan area begins.

What will surprise you is that it has expired for the last 15 years. But the government of Pakistan has not taken any notice of it and people are walking on it as if it is brand new.

Two or three years ago, another bridge to connect district Bakhar and Dera Ismail Khan, built by Pakistani engineers, collapsed after just six months and people lost faith in this bridge.

People trust this Expiry Bridge, which was built by Chinese engineers. This is a question mark for Pakistani engineers.

In the past years, some tourists from Europe passed through here, so they refused to cross this bridge and used a boat to go to another area.

I captured these images while traveling

It is a strange thing that Pakistanis pass through here in thousands, which Europeans do not trust. I also cross this bridge and become Dera Ismail because I do not have another way.

I know there is nothing interesting in the post. But there is definitely a question mark ?? God forbid, who will be responsible if there is any damage due to this expired bridge. Will the government be responsible for this or the people themselves who know that it is fully expired and still pass through here? Or the engineers who built the replacement bridge that collapsed in six months.

Ahhh the risks you're taking is much. I can't imagine the state of your heart as you pass through the bridge. I pray for your protection and safety as you pass through the bridge.

I wish the government would take notice of your plights.

Hi @aliabid01

I hope you are well and have a wonderful day traveling with your friends.Because our Pakistan is very dear and every city, province, village has its own beauty and the rivers are very beautiful.Your pictures from today are very beautiful and it looks like the weather was very beautiful and cool that day.The Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bridge you're referring to is likely the Attock Bridge, also known as the Old Attock Bridge or the Bridge over the Indus. The bridge has played a crucial role in connecting the two provinces, facilitating trade, commerce, and cultural exchange. And as far as I know, what Hindus or Chinese people have made before us, Pakistan has not made them such things and they are all very old.

Best Regards
