Women in silence. Digital work [ENG /ESP].

Happy day to all the members of this community, it is a real honour for me to participate again and show my digital work, this is achieved through the PC program PHOTOSHOP in addition to using photographic images from my personal bank and works of my authorship made in traditional art.

This work has some meaning, I have always been concerned about the way some societies treat women, I see that sometimes they are treated unfairly, violently, they are condemned to go through inappropriate circumstances, in this work, I use digital collages, newspaper clippings, sewing and fragments of colours to present them as a banner of support for women.

The work is centred on a part of a painting made by me in the year 2022, later I placed it on a kind of labyrinth where I gave it varied forms and textures and in the centre I opened an oval that serves as a window and that means that there is a new hope, that we must always move forward.

Behind this oval you can see a face of a lady, which has been intervened, fragments of newspaper clippings have been placed on it and it is crossed diagonally by a kind of seam, with this element I want the world to understand that many times people are condemned to silence and cannot express their sorrows, opinions, it is a way of being the voice of those who cannot speak.

With the main layer I have created a frame, technically it gives depth to the whole work, shadows and bevels were added to create values that differentiate it from the other layers, all the colours have been reduced in strength and the oil paint filter has been used for each one of them.

I hope that the work will be to the liking of those who can see it and that it will also serve as support for all those women who live unpleasant experiences with their personal or collective freedom. Happy day to all of you.

Feliz día para todos los integrantes de esta comunidad, es un verdadero honor para mi participar nuevamente y mostrar mi trabajo digital, este es logrado a través del programa para PC PHOTOSHOP ademas de usar imágenes fotográficas de mi banco personal y obras de mi autoría realizadas en arte tradicional.

Esta obra encierra algún significado, siempre me ha preocupado la forma en que algunas sociedades tratan a la mujer, veo que a veces se les trata de forma injusta, violenta, se les condena a pasar por circunstancias no adecuadas, en esta obra, uso collages digitales, de recortes de periódicos, costuras y fragmentos de colores para presentarlos como bandera de apoyo a la mujer.

la obra esta centrada en una parte de una pintura realizada por mi en el año 2022, posteriormente la coloque sobre una especie de laberinto donde le di formas y texturas variadas y en el centro abrí un ovalo que sirve como ventana y que significa que hay una nueva esperanza, que siempre hay que avanzar.

Detrás de ese ovalo se puede ver un rostro de una dama, que esta intervenido, sobre el se han colocado fragmentos de recortes de periódicos y es atravesado en forma diagonal por una especie de costura, con este elemento busco que el mundo entienda que muchas veces las personas están condenadas al silencio y no pueden expresar sus penas, opiniones, es una forma de ser la voz de aquellos que no pueden hablar.

Con la capa principal he creado un marco, técnicamente le da profundidad a toda la obra, se le agregaron sombras y biseles para crear valores que lo diferencien de las demás capas, se le ha bajado fuerza a todos los colores y se ha usado el filtro de pintura al oleo para cada una de ellas.

Espero que la obra sea del agrado de quienes puedan verla y que sirva ademas como apoyo para todas aquellas mujeres que viven experiencias desagradables con su libertad bien sea personal o colectiva. Feliz día para todos.
