Today we wanted to return to our Artist Showcase and present you a user who we recently have often seen in „World of Xpialr“ Community and learnt better.

Jorge is Chilean-Belgian, visual artist. Born in Santiago, Chile.

Initially he remained in the field of craftsmanship working with materials as diverse as copper, wood or leather.

In particular, he spent more than a decade working with leather, exploring the many ways in which works can be done, ranging from to make utilitarian articles to artworks such as carving, pyrography, embossing or modeling.

Gradually, the love to drawing and painting overcome and he traveled to Europe, Belgium where he dedicate himself to Art. He began to make his first artistic works adopting watercolor and oil as his favorite techniques, which he learned in a self-taught way.

When I read that everything about Jorge and saw that his blog is so humble, my first thought was that it might be again soemone else is using Identity of such amazing Artist. We have seen it in the past.

 

Therefore I have sent a message to Jorge via email of the website:

 

 

And was so glad to see that the user who we have on Steemit is a real personality Jorge Van de Perre. He is currently lives in Spain and also he shared his Deviant Art link too.

 

In our opinion, we need to appreciate the real professionals who have chosen our platform Steem to display their work and to be part of the community.
