began with with a pencil sketching of image outline using the reference photo with the use HB pencil on pelican paper. Secondly, l made use of Medium and soft Generals Charcoal pencils to outline desired areas ,shade darker areas and the use of charcoal powder to shade the skin tone with the use of a dry paint brush.
