Greetings @axeman It has been a while since I took part in this contest which is actually the first ever I participated in here on the platform. I have been practising photography though every time I got the chance to. Without further ado I would like to enter the landscape contest with this copper tree which I photoed here in west London right by the river Thames. It is a Mexican Swamp Cypress "Taxodium mucronatum" which is also the favourite fishing spot of a heron. This shot was taken in the south of Iceland. Iceland is located just below the arctic circle. September to april you can experience this eARTh entertainment on the night sky. Just check the KP-Index on an Aurora Forecast app and travel north.
In 2020 I started a new trip heading north. I wanted to photograph the northern lights and stay the winter in Scandinavia until covid would pass. Follow me on an epic trip accompanied by the Aurora Borealis, an active Volcano and lots of fantastic landscapes.
