Digital Art, New Competition (No.27) - The birth of the flying Dutchman.

As a child... although sometimes even now I loved and still love to watch clouds and find interesting images in their forms.

Sometimes you can see a person's face or clearly you can see the image of some animal.

It’s amazing how the clouds of steam paint their pictures the life of which is very short, but thanks to the fact that we have the opportunity to take a photograph these images can be saved and remembered these magnificent moments.

Searching for such images is like fishing you never know what kind of fish you will hook.

One day I took a photograph of a cloud that looked like the hull of a ship emerging from the clouds.

Then I immediately thought about the flying Dutchman or as it is also called, the ghost ship.

The eternal wanderer in the clouds who is not destined to land on the shore is a sad story.

If such a ship existed then there would also be a pier on which it would be built and obviously not cedar but clouds would be used as materials.

I wanted to depict the moment of the birth of the flying Dutchman from the clouds.

For now, we can say this is the beginning of work I don’t know what this ship will look like in the future but for now these are the first steps of the legendary ship.

This is what the original photograph looks like which I took at sunset from my balcony.

As usual I worked in the online photo editor pixlr.com.

We can say that it was a drawing or modeling of a ship from the clouds.

Sometimes it works very quickly, and sometimes it requires a lot of RAM that my computer refuses to allocate, or cannot do it, and such work, as in this case, turns into a long and difficult labor lol.

But I wanted to see the birth of the ship and had to be patient.

Gradually the masts of the ship and the yards on them appeared from which the assembled sails hung.

After another ejection from the system and rebooting the computer again I decided to stop the work at this stage.
