Perpendicular world - Pencil drawing, New Competition (No.69)

Perpendicular world.

It may sound strange but I don't understand why children in geometry lessons when talking about the theory of planes are told about parallel planes and lines that in fact do not exist.

Perhaps at some point parallels exist but, due to a tiny error one day what seemed parallel to us turns into a perpendicular.

For example maybe many years ago in my apartment they were doing repairs and all the surfaces of the walls and floor were leveled striving for an ideal horizontal or vertical surface that at that time had parallels with other surfaces.

But time passed and putting a bottle filled with water on the floor I see how it begins to roll in one direction due to a slight shrinkage of the house.

What was parallel to the ground suddenly became an intersecting surface albeit not at a right angle but it is no longer parallel.

For example in two different at first glance parallel planes lived an atheist and a believer.

The atheist believed all his life that their planes would never intersect but the last day of the atheist's life came and he felt very uncomfortable living in his plane of atheism and he cried out to God with a plea for forgiveness...

Yesterday in the eternal I decided to draw such a perpendicular world where many surfaces intersect each other or strive for this perpendicularity.

If you remember how you slept in a train compartment then relative to the floor of the car, you may have slept parallel until you woke up but relative to the direction of the train's movement you definitely slept as a plane perpendicular to such movement.

The bridge supports will never be parallel to the plane of the bridge itself to the train moving on the bridge.

One might think that the supports are parallel to each other but this can be questioned.

The joints of the bridge structures are usually perpendicular to the planes of these structures.

The river carries its waters perpendicular to the bridge supports and although it seems that it is in a parallel plane to the railway but the probability that during floods somewhere these planes will intersect cannot be ruled out.

And as for the rain it is definitely perpendicular to everything listed above.

I worked on the drawing using a graphite pencil on paper.
