Going back in time and remembering my best Christmas celebration, fills my mind with good memories, it was just the year before, when all the members of the family were present.

The meeting place is at my house, I always decorate the atmosphere with Christmas decorations, the protagonist of the night is the famous Venezuelan-style Christmas dish, which consists of a portion of ham bread, a hallaca, chicken salad and pork loin.

Before dinner we usually have someone from the family say some motivational words and we make a toast for the health of those present.

After dinner, between happy music, laughter, some dance and others spend their time with a good conversation.

Later in the evening we get ready to exchange gifts. Previously it has been selected to whom you are going to give the gift.

The parranda continues the next day, from early in the morning those who are older prepare a chicken soup, which serves to charge the energy and continue the party.

In other words, the celebration begins on December 24 and ends on December 25.

After getting into that time machine and remembering how lively the Christmas dinner was. It also reminded me of last year's celebration, which was not so good because several members of the family left the country, the absence marked that celebration, although those present tried to brighten up the gathering.
