Hello Steemians, How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. I am glad to participate in this contest for the first time. I appreciate @xpilar for organising this contest. Today, I have drawn a beautiful cat (kitten), and I am here to present the step-by-step process of my drawing. Thank you.

Materials Used For Drawing

• A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I sketch the kitten. I began from the head, Then the two ears followed by the body, the legs and finally the tail.

Step 2
I sketch the eyes, nose and mouth shading of the kitten using a 6B pencil

Step 3
I shaded the nose, mouth and the eyes of the kitten. I used a 10B pencil for the shading.

Step 4
I shaded the ear of the kitten and I began to shade the head of the kitten.

Step 5
I shaded the legs and tail of the kitten using a 10 B pencil.

Step 6
I carefully shaded the remaining parts of the kitten using a 10B and a 6B pencil.

Step 7
I drew the whiskers. Whiskers are the thick, long hairs found on cat faces. I also shaded the shadow of the cat and wrote my name on the drawing paper.
