Pencil drawing, New Competition (No.59)

Greetings steemians! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @xpilar for organising and sustaining this contest. Today I have drawn a lady admiring and taking care of a horse and I shall present to you the steps I have taken for the drawing. I hope you all will like it.

Material for drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Paper cutter
• Ruler

Step 1
I began by drawing from the head of the horse. I started from the left ear followed by the right ear. After that, I drew the long face, the nose, the eyes, and the reins which is the rope around the face of the horse that controls its movement. I also drew parts of its neck.

Step 2
Here, I shaded the region around the eyes and the eyes itself. I also have the nose, the mouth and the reins.

Step 3
I drew the hat worn by the lady. I began with the front dip followed by the crown and then the hat band. I also gave a design on the crown. After the hat, I drew the face of the lady. Her cheek, nose mouth, neck and eye.

Step 4
I drew her right hand which is on the face of the horse, her body down to the west level and then her long hair which lapped on her bag down to her west.

Step 5
I drew her left hand which is also on the face of the horsehorse and the head of the horse is resting on it. I shaded the shirt she was wearing. I added more shading to the face of the horse, and finally her eyes brow.

Step 6
I drew the jeans and trousers she is wearing, I drew the line of stitches and the two pockets at the back of the trousers. Finally, I drew and designed the belt she puts on.

Step 7
Finally, in this drawing, I drew the fence made be wood which is between the lady and the horse.
