The yellow-crested cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea) is a medium-sized bird, about 35 cm long, from the genus Cacatua. This bird has almost all its feathers white. On its head there is a yellow crest that can be erected. The yellow-crested cockatoo has a black beak, the skin around its eyes is bluish and the legs are gray. The flight feathers and tail are also yellow. Female birds are similar to male birds.
