WOX TRAVEL CONTEST | Seoul

Hello Steemians! :) Today I want to share with you about my next work visit to Seoul, South Korea. It was definitely filled with exciting experiences and beautiful sights. While walking around the city during my free time, I had the opportunity to see the fascinating contrast between the old and the new, the traditional and the modern.

Seoul's cityscape was adorned with autumn leaves drifting across the city, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the lively hues of the locals. As I walked the sidewalks of the major boulevards, I was surrounded by people going about their daily tasks, which added a sense of energy and life to the environment.

An interesting winding steep street painted red caught my attention, but unfortunately it was threatened by hanging power cables crossing the road. This unexpected combination of aesthetic appeal and functional necessity reflects the complexity of contemporary urban landscapes.

The Mapo Bridge, which crosses the Han River and connects Mapo and Yeongdeungpo districts, was another architectural wonder I saw. Completed in 1970, it serves as an important transport link in the city. On the bridge, I took a photo of the “Cheer Up!” statue, which symbolizes the spirit of Seoul and its commitment to growth and development.

Then I came across the Seoul Moon hot air balloon in Yeouido Park. This mooring gas device offers panoramic views of the city from a height of 130 meters, providing an unforgettable experience for visitors. The balloon is moved slightly by the wind both horizontally and vertically, connecting the ground and the body with cables and ropes. At night it shines and really resembles a full moon.

Finally, I reached the Park One Tower business complex, its tall skyscrapers towering majestically in front of me. The building is an example of Seoul's impressive modern architecture and serves as a testament to the city's economic prosperity.

Definitely, my visit to Seoul was filled with amazing experiences and beautiful sights. The city has managed to capture my imagination with its unique blend of traditional culture and modern advancements, making it a truly unforgettable destination.
