Frankfurt Skyline

Frankfurt in der Abenddämmerung. Aufgenommen im Juli 2016. Das war eines meiner ersten Bilder mit einem Stativ. Aufgenommen mit meiner aller ersten Kamera der Sony A57. Mich würde mal interessieren, wie sich in den fast 5 1/2 Jahren die Skyline mittlerweile verändert hat. Damals hab ich mir die Bilder immer fast ausschließlich auf meinem Kamerabildschirm oder meinem alten Laptop angeschaut. Erst jetzt ist mir aufgefallen, dass mein Sensor damals echt verdreckt war.

Die Belichtungszeit hatte ich auf 3,2 Sekunden eingestellt und die Blende auf f-22 / ISO 100. Was mich damals dazu gebracht hat zu glauben, dass eine Blende von 22 bei einem Kit-Objektiv eine tolle Einstellung ist? Ich weiß es nicht. Meine Vermutung: Ich wollte, dass der Main (so heißt der Fluss) geglättet wird. Dadurch hab ich versucht die längst mögliche Belichtungszeit hinzubekommen, ohne einen ND-Filter zu benutzen.
Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Frankfurt bin, versuche ich mal ein Vergleichsbild.

At that time I always looked at the pictures almost exclusively on my camera screen or my old laptop. Only now I noticed that my sensor was really dirty back then.

I had set the exposure time to 3.2 seconds and the aperture to f-22 / ISO 100. What made me think back then that an aperture of 22 on a kit lens was a great setting? I don't know. My guess: I wanted the main (that's the name of the flow) to be smoothed out. So I tried to get the longest possible exposure time without using an ND filter.
Next time I'm in Frankfurt, I'll try a comparison picture.
