The Summit has started from Today, 9/9/23 till 10/9/23.

Motive::
G20 was formed in 1999 to solve the Major Issues related to the Global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation and sustainable development.
The G20 is a forum of the world’s largest advanced and emerging economies, representing about 2/3 of the world’s population, 85% of global gross domestic product and over 75% of global trade.
This forum has come a long way in discussing and coming out with solutions in world Problems. Many more countries are now interested in being part of G20.

There are 19 countries along with European union that form G20.

**This year India has been Successful in Onboarding African Union to be a part of G20 and every country has accepted the same. So from next year, the Summit will now be known as #G21.
Also,India has invited it's friend #UAE as Guest Country for 2023, G20 Summit **

Who does G20 Presidency::
The G20 Presidency rotates annually according to a system that ensures a regional balance over time. Reflecting its nature as an informal political forum, the G20 does not have a permanent secretariat. Instead, the G20 president is responsible for bringing together the G20 agenda in consultation with other members and in response to developments in the global economy.
To ensure continuity, the presidency is supported by a “troika” made up of the current, immediate past and next host countries.

About Current G20 Summit::
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is welcoming world leaders as they have started arriving at
Bharat Mandapam,
an International Exhibition-Convention Centre, the G20 Summit venue in Delhi( capital of India).

The theme of summit is
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is one family)

Over two days,all the global leaders are expected to coordinate policy on Food security, Vulnerable countries' Debt problems and Climate action.

Throughout the year, meetings take place in various cities of the host country on a range of sectors – health, tourism, finance and so on. At the summit, a joint declaration is released. Here is what might be on the agenda and what the meetings have yielded so far.

Conclusion of Summits::
The end of g20 summit 2023, will mark the end of #India’s year-long presidency of the international forum.
The end of such summits usually results in a declaration or joint communique agreed to by all of the members. It outlines common positions on matters such as international conflicts, climate change-related commitments, the areas of future cooperation, etc.
