It's basically known as Soot. They can be seen on the roofs of ordinary houses or on the roofs of teensheed houses. Bangladesh, a riverine country, is scattered like a network of rivers and canals in different parts of the country. These rivers can be divided into three parts, firstly the main river, secondly the tributary river and thirdly the tributary of tributary river. It's the tributary of tributary river. The river water reaches here only when the monsoon is in full swing. Jute is cultivated on the surface of the river before the water reaches it. When the water recedes, paddy is cultivated here. But yes, due to the abundance of water hyacinth, agriculture is hampered. It is difficult to clean them and then cultivate paddy. Since the river water floods the topsoil, silt falls or is very useful for paddy cultivation. This field is very useful for other crops as the soil quality is greatly enhanced by the fall of silt. However, farmers in this region do not produce the same crop over and over again on their land but produce one crop for 2 years and produce another crop for the next few years. There are enough reasons behind this because repeated crop cultivation on the same land reduces the quality of the soil. Crops are cultivated at regular intervals so that the soil quality remains the same for each crop
