I needed a new laptop and I have an idea in mind, in-fact I already have a unit that I want to purchase, basically a touchscreen Lenovo Yoga and it is in the Lenovo website. The thing is that it will possibly a new purchase to that website and their courier is different, the shopping experience is different and that is the main thing because I just do not like changes.
Then there is a laptop in the online store which is great and has the specs that I wanted, but it has a smaller screen, I am not sure if it is touchscreen too, lesser storage, and lesser RAM. Some other model units have a good display but I do not prefer it. These examples of factors puts me a dilemma in purchasing a new laptop because there is always a compromise.
From the Lenovo website, I learned that it will take weeks for the particular model that I want to be delivered and that is quite daunting for me. But I really want the model that I want to have even though it is expensive. But from the online store, they do not offer it and I will be forced to buy a different model but not the Yoga variant and is definitely not a touch screen and has a different specifications even though it is still a premium model.
I must be choosy and make up my mind because I will keep this new laptop for as long as I can and it must be "perfect" for me. If I will do many compromises, I might not enjoy its use. I also have to keep in mind that I don't have to pay too much money or else, if the unit will get an issue, then it would not be much of a problem if it is not a very costly laptop, but with an expensive unit, it will definitely be a pain to fix it it or return it for repair.
That is why I want a Lenovo because this laptop that I have now is quite durable although the screen has black lines on top and bottom but it still works. Only the camera got screwed maybe because of the BIOS update which I have to pay attention to after my supposed new laptop purchase.
I can't still make up my mind if I will going to get that laptop model unit from the Lenovo website or from the online store but a different model. But I am getting a better laptop either way although I will have to deal with compromises. It is a good thing that I have some money for it and that is not an issue although what I will be using is a crypto which has some disappointing prices because of the ongoing factors affecting its volatility which in a way makes me think in the other hand should not be much of a deal since the prices had gone up much considerably compared to the past years, and yes I am talking about Bitcoin.
Some people says not to sell Bitcoin but for me, what is the point of earning it if you will not going to use it because after all what I will use it for is what I needed ta the moment, plus I have a disposable income from other sources too. At the end of the day it is my money and I have the sole decision on how to use it. But anyway, I just don't like big decisions but I have to do it even though I am not comfortable in changes.

I don't see the dilemma.
You like the one from the Lenova site most so order that one. I assume Lenova will make sure it will be delivered and you have waranty, that's what count most.
If it comes to bitcoin.. indeed it might go up again and there's a limit if it comes to it but at the other hand we will not live forever and if you make an income with it why not use it.
I believe your problem is solved or?
Take good care of yourself, order the laptop through the site and if it takes longer you still have the old laptop and your phone.
Is it more handy to buy a touch screen? It would feel more like a big tablet to me and I don't think I would ever buy it. I don't believe the screen will like the fingers for a long period unless it's the quality the government uses at the cityhall

I hope that I can make-up my mind soon, this laptop still works but I needed an alternative because it is a disaster if this old one conked-out on me without a ready replacement.
I'll try to search for the online shop (not the Lenovo website) if I can find a good one that also can suit my needs and wants and go for it but if I can't find one that has a 16 inches screen, I will go for the Lenovo website.
I find it good to have a touchscreen but maybe I am just used to having it since this laptop was really my first laptop but I guess that I can also live without it. I am not used to using the trackpad but both functionality is important for me.

You can ask the webshop if they can order it. If I have the choice I order with the website. I did years ago and everything was fine.
I never had a touchscreen saw it years ago in a shop and I doubt many with us would buy it unless it's a tablet but even tablets never became popular. It's interesting to hear you have it. What are the benefits for your? What is is you use it for?
I am looking forward to see it. I agree with you it's bad if the old gives up and there's nothing else and also worse one is forced to buy something because there's nothing else at the time which is a burden and waste of money.

This old Laptop is a Lenovo Yoga, it can be converted into a Tablet, you just fold it which is why it is a touchscreen.
Sometimes I find the touchscreen useful if like for example my mouse gives up or I needed to zoom in or make some elements in the screen bigger although of course we can do it using the touchpad but I like having the touchscreen functionality.
If you have a touchscreen you can for example do a digital painting, because this laptop is meant for creative work and entertainment, it also has digital Pen included.
I am still waiting for some crypto pump so that I can make a better use of the cryptos that I have when their values goes up.

How does the folding work out on long term? Isn't it more vulnerable and how long did you have fun with the preset one?
I was thinking if it's possible to do the swipe writing with it. Did you try it?
Disappaearing mice I hear many complain about I wonder what causes it. Lack of memory or windows not being compatible.
Can you use the Yoga if i you lay down and is the screen not too big/nearby to wa watch film search?
Digital painting I did with my phone once or twice, the scribble, I liked it although I couldn't see exactly what I was drawinging but my apple looked cool but @tezzmax said it's a BIG no.
I hope the crypto pump is on it's way and we don't have to wait for 7 years. I checked last week the history of Steem and we are by far not back at where we started. I guess that cannot be changed (some hack?).

I am not actually using this Lenovo Yoga as intended with regards to using it in Tent mode, Flat on the table mode, and tablet mode but as a laptop because it is too heavy for my weak arms to move it like so.
So it is just perched on my bed with its stand which is being made sturdy by resting the other side corner of it to the wall of my room so that when I type it would not wobble or move around.
Now the bottom cover had been dislodged from its screws after the battery had swollen because of age (normal wear), so I fixed it on its stand with a ribbon.
I use a wireless mice/mouse all the time so sometimes the battery drains down and I have to charge it again. If that happens the touchscreen function of this laptop gets handy although again I can use the touchpad too.
Yes, the price of STEEM and other altcoins are quite frustrating which I thought that would really get better once BTC reaches greater heights of value but it is what it is and we just hope that BTC will soon make a leg-up for Altcoins to move up again, it is what it is.
