Recently I was not able to complete my dialysis treatment sessions because apparently my blood sugar goes down. It is because the session yesterday prompted one of my renal nurses to take the reading of my blood sugar level and she told me that it was that low, it reads "90". But my mother told me tat it was not that low because the low is about 70 or less than that level.

Well, I thought that also the blood sugar test was free so I just agreed to be tested because after all it is easier to convince patients who are in a dialysis complication like I experienced being lightheaded already due to the fact that my last meal yesterday was at around 6:00 AM and my session will not complete until 2:30 PM in the afternoon. So all the while I am not eating while getting the dialysis treatment and only sucking on two hard candies for the purpose of not getting my blood sugar to get too low because the dialysis process takes away blood sugar from the blood as well.

So after my nurse asked me to have my blood sugar tested I just had to agree, then she asked me to have some "D-50/50" solution infused directly into my bloodstream. They use it in treatments of patients with cases of muscle cramps as a complication of dialysis treatment although in our center I never had seen patients suffer from bad cramps because in actuality, the treatment in our center is not that really good, I can consider or call the treatments to be still mild. It is because I was along-time dialysis patient over there and the clean factor was not the same as before.

I asked to have some Sprite to drink first so the nurse agreed. One of the senior nurse over my clinic has snacks for sale inside the treatment center so that is the food that sometimes other patients buy from her. Even though I drank the Sprite and actually feeling much better already, the nurse proceeded to give me the D-50/50 solution so that it will help me elevate my blood sugar again. But I regret it because it already spoiled my appetite which is why I was not able to eat well after my session because it dissipated my hunger as it contains sugars and acid which is why it is used to treat muscle cramps related to dialysis treatment. The the sugar contained in Sprite added to diminish my hunger a great deal too.

Anyway I just got scared about the impending hypotension brewing because it could get worse at any second and leave me in a very dangerous situation so I have no choice but to call the attention of the nearest nurse to me and terminate the treatment session so that I will not suffer a bad case of hypotension that can very well mean my life. That is why my dialysis was not completed 15 minutes before the appointed time of termination. Now I will have to pay for the blood pressure test strip, the D-50/50 solution, and the softdrink that I drank which I now realized that the two former is not needed anymore since I already drank some 250 mL expensive Sprite.

I am sure that I am not adequately withdrawn with extra fluids because I can feel it. The hypotension might mean that I already had gained a little mass which is why I can target my comparatively lighter weight now. The hypotension might also mean that the dialysis process is efficient in cleaning my blood, hence it lowered my blood sugar considerably. Now what I will just do is to snack while I am hooked-up at dialysis even though it might do the opposite and give me more risks of developing hypotension but I have to see if it will work which I am not really sure because of course I had done that before and it seems that it doesn't matter if you eat or not while hooked-up at the machine because I will still feel lightheaded during those past history of my dialysis life, I still have to see once again .

It's surprising me you are allowed to drink sprite, is that the same sprite that I have in my father's shop? Or it's something special because you mentioned about the expensiveness.

I wish you can get better even without completing the whole treatment. I wonder, can you stand or walk now?

Sprite is recommended to drink if dialysis patients choses to drink it because it has no Phosphorus or phosphoric acid. I needed to drink some because I am also thirsty at that time plus my blood sugar level according to my nurse was low yesterday.

The cost of soft drinks here are expensive, it is good because people will try to avoid it and will be good for them to also avoid busting their pancreas. Diabetes is one of the top causes of death in the world and Kidney failure is one of its complications. That is why it is high time for people to eat natural foods to avoid lifestyle-related diseases to happen.

I can walk around the house but not normally as before and now I prefer to just lay down most of the time on my bed to avoid straining my weak joints because I still have weak bones which I am trying to improve more with its integrity and strength.

Thanks be to God it gets trickles of improvements over time because of the particular vitamin and natural superfood food that I use everyday. I am praying that these improvements to continue because it improves my overall well-being and of course it makes me happy. 😀👍

I'm so happy to know that you're not bedridden anymore and there's so many improvements in your health. do you remember our belated @fitinfun? she's the one who introduced you to me at that time. let me recall 2018 or 2019. No, don't dig up to find the post. LOL.

Hello friend, your sick? Am sorry about your health. I pray you recover soon. Nothing would happen to you, I gat your back. Common guy, do you really finished the 250ml sprite? What type of sprite is that? I don't really like sprite because of it sugar quantity in it. Did the nurse agree before you take it?
