One very, very long-time issue which I was able to solve just lately was breathlessness. I also noticed that the crackling or gurgling (rales) sound in my lungs had disappeared and I am never much more thankful to God that I was able to go pass through it for the reason that it improved my quality of life.

What happened from the past years (more than a decade) is that I was having an elevated blood acidity levels and the blame is on me unfortunately for the reason that the cause of high acidity of my blood was my use of ascorbic acid. Acidosis had set in and it gave me symptoms similar to high altitude sickness which is why my lungs are always "wet" and it makes me feel breathless all the time.

The thing is that I started to feel breathlessness while my backbone was curving where one instance which it curved so fast way back from 2017 that I was unable to sit for a few days because of a sharp pain in my back and the sides of my body. However my weight was still relatively heavier back then and I only had a great relief when the former head nurse had granted me to lower my dry weight, meaning they removed water through dialysis into a certain point that I felt a considerable reduction of breathlessness and that crackling sound in my lungs. It was so bad before that I really can't lay on y back because I would start to cough due to fluids in my lungs.

I am really thankful for that former senior nurse from our dialysis clinic because had he refused to take heed of my request to remove extra water which is filling my lungs with fluids from that instance, I would have been drowned to death with my own body fluids.

That is why from that point onwards, I always associate the fluid build-up in my lungs to just having excessive fluids in my body and not because of any other cause. Little that I knew that the cause of fluids in my lings is the fact that I was suffering from acidosis or high acidity of blood. Unfortunately the Kidneys are the main factor of balancing acidity of the blood so because of that the dialysis patients are susceptible of suffering the acidosis.

However, there is just a working solution for acidosis and that is to take Sodium bicarbonate tablets. It is cheap and works in neutralizing acidic blood. I did tale it before a few years ago but it elevated my blood pressure to dangerous levels. What is a an odd thing now was that I am not having an elevated blood pressure despite that I am taking three tablets of 560mg of Sodium Bicarbonate tablets. Maybe the key factor there is that I was taking it about four hours after my meals but I am not totally sure if it was the reason why I am still not having a high blood pressure unlike before where I was using Sodium Bicarbonate with my meals and even with my drinks or beverages.

However one thing is for sure, my breathlessness is an fluids in my lungs are gone as well. Now I can walk without catching my breath, my sleep quality got improved, more energy, no more feeling of lacking in oxygen, the heartbeat is normalized, and no more severe appetiteloss. But not all dialysis patients are aware of acidosis and because of that they would suffer the symptoms similar to high altitude sickness not to mention that feeling that you will die because of a lower heartbeat and blood pressure and zero appetite.

The major thing for dialysis patients is that they are not educated not explained what their condition is or how they can deal with it. The only ones that get a better chance of improving their condition was the ones that would ask the right questions like searching the cause of their symptoms, learning about what to do and not to do where a simple research will do a great improvement for their condition. I was a victim of this circumstance plus more which is why my bones got affected which a little too late I was able to prevent further damage with a bit of luck for finding a solution which really set me aside among other patients which was suffering the same but would not improve for the reason that they do not really know what to do in the first place.
