I think that I really needed more time with our guard dog for it to not get estranged with me and I believe that your suggestions are indeed good ways to do it. I am just quite disappointed to myself to let that happen but it happened because I am not always going out from my room.
It is awesome to have a good camera phone because for example with my nature of hobby/work, it makes me feel better if when I am delivering nice photos because also I feel that using free photos makes me blogs lesser interesting than they are, so now at least I can make photos that are more interesting than before.
Sometimes it rains here but not that hard and now the weather is warming-up again and I just pray that not much rain will pour this year because our roof will drip with rain water like it is crying if not having a bad case of hay fever, but it still holds until I decide to have these things fixed God-willing this year I hope.
By the way, I am surprised when our neighbor's dog died, they put up a wake service on it like a person died in their family. I mean I cam be sad for having my pet dog dies but not to that point that a funeral service must be done complete with crying family members, I just don't see that often and is a rare occasion for me to see as they posted it in Facebook. I also remember one of my nurses doing that funeral service when her pet dog died but I guess it is normal to do nowadays, dog funerals.😐
Thank you for your time and support Miss @wakeupkitty
The month January didn't even end and you already managed to achieve the first thing on your list! A new phone with a great camera how cool is that?
You can still bond with Sara-Sara it's never to late and you are not complete strangers. Can be it's also a part of her character she is easily afraid if approached. It wouldn't surprise me if animals also have autism or like to have their peace. A dog actually never sleeps and is always on guard. Perhaps she also has pain somewhere. I noticed if it comes to most animals you always are kind of late figuring it out. It was the same with the cat here/ It's a miracle he's still alive although he doesn't eat much he left the house this morning and I had to search him in my bathrobe and call the dachshund to find him. Luckily he did Of course, the cat escaped as I tried to grab him so I had to give food to two dogs which made the cat curious enough to have closer look.
I keep my fingers crossed there won't be much rain and the roof will can be fixed this year. I gues the wall will be done as well or?
Funerals for pets we have too but I never did it. We even have some graveyards for animals and I can tell you it's very expensive. Usually you have two options if it comes to your pet: you leave it with the vet and he takes care of it (as I was a child they said the glue used at kindergarten and primary school was mad out of the bones of dogs, the rest? Dogfood, test material?). The vet does get paid by whomever takes them. The other option is you bury your dog/cat/rabbit or a crematorium is an option. They give you the ashes which you can put in a jar or they make a necklace or whatever with a part of the asses. It's not allowed to bury the dog or pet in your garden (we do it anyway since it's my place. As I once moved I took the dead cat along and buried him in the next garden. It was kind of recently buried and wrappen in a cloth. I didn't like the idea to leave him behind and new people digging in the ground and finding him.
One of the animal graveyards I know. At the bottom is a virtual tour

If attached to an animal it's good to say goodbye in a way. I once had a hamster whose eye was suddenly dried out. It was a great one and always waited for me as I came out of school. So one day as I arrived I smeld something strange. It waite straight up holding the wires and as I lifted it I saw the eye and he collapse. I wanted my dad to bury him which he finally did in the garden. For sure I put some flowers on his grave but it was just me and my father not the entire family and we also didn't have a speech or some ceremony. Saying goodbye to a beloved one, no matter a person or an animal is important for the process of mourning. At leas that is what I believe especially if death arrives unexpectedly. If not it's good to enjoy the company daily and not wait till it's too late. Wll at least that's what I believe.

It is big business as long as there are still people who can afford it. Look here

Yes thank God that I have a new awesome phone, it is fast and does produce good photos and what really made me decide to buy it is that my old smartphone can't load the photos of the food app delivery that I sometimes use plus it tales a while when I update the apps because of the old processor. Basically the old phone was getting sluggish but it still works but I needed a better one with speedier process and camera too.
If God wills it I will have to buy another new laptop with a better display and overall performance although my laptop is capable, the screen has black lines already at the top and bottom. Repairing it will be costly because the screen is a touch screen and made of glass. I actually have the money in the form of crypto in an exchange but I am still trading it so I can accumulate more cash.
As for this house i am still waiting for BTC to double in value so that I can sell some and have a new house built as soon as possible for me and my aging parents. Both the flooring and the corrugated roof of this house needs to be changed. The floor was high when it was still new but now is one of the few houses around here in my neighborhood with the lowest floor level. We actually have one of the oldest standing house here as every hose in my neighborhood now are relatively newer and the passing of time made it look like the old house that I visit when I was still a kid our which also had a flooring lower than the surrounding ground level, now it happened to our house especially after the concrete road in front of our house got raised.
Thankfully when we get flooded the water would start to recede as soon as the rain would stop, but while the water is inside the house, I am like a stranded man on an island which is my bed. At least now I am mobile enough to walk without much problem compared before.
Anyway, it is only common for people to take their pets like toy dogs and other expensive breeds to the veterinarian here but for common guard dogs they are not mostly given some attention as far as visiting the vet which is why they will just die when they get sick. Then dead dogs or even pets are just buried at the property of the owner but I am not sure how pet owners of expensive dog breeds deal with their departed lived pets, maybe they bury them too in their backyards.
I am a sensitive person emotionally so I am just avoiding things that I will miss as when they are not around anymore particularly own a pet and even befriending my fellow co-patients at the dialysis clinic because it is a common occurrence that patients there leave this world faster than you can say "fast", I mean even if they live for some years I will still see them depart. So to avoid a feeling of loss, I would always let myself unattached to them even to my nurses which most of the time comes and then goes to work abroad. Well, its just me, because I do not like the feeling of loss of a lovedone nor I wanted to experience one in my lifetime.
Thank you for your time and care Miss @wakeupkitty 😀👍
