And so, the date rolls over, and now we are writing 2022!
It's late, and I have other places to be, doing other things... but just wanted to take a few moments away to wish everyone here in the world of Steemit a very Happy New Year! May 2022 bring you all the things you've hoped and planned for!
To be honest, I am happy to see the end of 2021... this was a difficult year for us, as I am sure it has been for many people.
Even so, there are many things to be grateful for, so I am choosing to focus on the good, rather than get bogged down in the difficult.
That said, I do hope 2022 is a better year for all of us!
Ending on a High Note!
Did get a nice "treat" to end 2021: I did get a Runner-Up/Honorable Mention in the "Best Author" category of the 2021 Steemit Awards, for which I am both very honored and grateful!
A big "Thank you" goes out to @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02, and well as to the awesome people who nominated me!
I shall do my best to continue publishing interesting and worthy content in 2022!

And on that note, I am going to leave this post fairly short and head off to our continued New Year's celebration! Here on the US West Coast we still have about an hour and fifteen minutes to go.
