Some photos from the canal trip that my hubby went on.
Marina Martinique is a holiday destination near the town of Jeffries Bay, South Africa.
There are many permanent residents there and also holiday homes for the up country people, who want a vacation at the coast.
The water fowl and bird life are a treat to behold. We even saw a mountain tortoise ambling along one of the roads.
A breeding place for seagulls has been included on one of the islands, too.
Indiginous plants have also been preferred as hedgerows and trees are also planted, instead of alien species.
