I am indeed privileged to be a steemian and to participate in the 1000 days of steem;

It has indeed been a great experience reading through others posts , so much knowledge has been imbibed this few days as i have been able to know the cost of goods in other states and countries.

Today, i decided to shop for things needed to make my hair and also buy weavon in preparation for my friends wedding which i will be her chief brides maid.

I have two weddings to attend to , so i had to buy two weavons for it and i had to buy the things which i will use in making my hair before and during the wedding ceremony;

So i went to chi chi beauty exquisite saloon, located at number 6 brass road Aba, Abia state, that was where i had to buy things ,

Everything was expensive as i was able to buy kinki expression #1900 but it was #1200 before the lock down and some other things.

I had to buy hair conditioner, weavon spray and olive oil for my hair,

I also had to buy rosemary kinki for making my hair before the wedding date

Two kinki would be enough for my hair , so i got one rosemary kinki and one expression kinki to support the other.

It was indeed a stressful shopping because i was trying to buy those things at cheaper rate and some are scarcely seen .

Cost of things bought:

Cost of USD in Nigerian currency as at today = #400

1USD =#400

2 weavons(#2500 each )= #5000 ,$12.5
1 expression kinki =#1900 , $4.75
1 rosemary kinki = #1400, $3.5
weavon spray =1200 , $3
1 hair olive oil = 1500, $3.75
1 hair conditioner = 2800, $7

Total= #13,800 , $34.5

Your day wasn't a waste after all, And for the prize of things there are unaffordable costly because of the pandemic we are into but we are still praying that God will see us through and make what we need available at every point in time.

Yes dear @unyime the pandemic has had a lot of influence on the cost of goods in the market , but i just had to buy them because i needs them urgently for my hair .

I pray the price of things comes down soon as it has affected most people.

I love those hairs i am seeing there. You will look so beautiful on them.
I wish i could be around to attend that wedding.
What is the colour of the day?, let me plan on attending.
It is everywhere for the escalation of the prices of things.
Where it will be bad is if you don't have money to buy them.
But no matter how high it may be, we will still afford to buy them.

Yes you can attend ma, its Evangeline's wedding on the 9th of August , then the second wedding is my cousin's wedding which will be held in my state, Enugu state;

The colour is blue , peach and white;

I was surprised on the cost of things in the market , it was not easy for me but i had to buy them because i needs them urgently for those weddings.

@dlioness the kinki is nice but they're too expensive unlike before. You should have tried using the Cemetery market at least the price wouldn't have been this high. But is well you had a nice shopping day after all just that you spent so much.

Thank you @marydexplorer yea it is but the transportation fare from where i was or where i bought those things to the cemetery market is high ,so adding it up to buy it close to where i stay is most advisable
