I asked myself, if I was going to introduce a book to a young girl which one would I choose? Archive.org has a huge library of audiobooks you can listen to. Anne of Green Gables is a world famous Canadian book beloved by girls and women everywhere. It is one of my mother's favourites.

You can download it, listen to it on the sight, you can read along as the recording plays.

I can't believe it, I love this story too😍 I even watched the adapted series on Netflix recently. It was a very nice coincidence. I try to have Anne's energy and positive outlook on life. Greetings to your mother 🤗
Btw, the listening feature of this archive is very nice, thank you so much🌸

A better representation of Anne, was a series from 1985, starring Megan Follows.

I believe that there is a secret sisterhood that can be traced to women who read the "Anne" stories.

I didn't know about this version of Anne. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, it is both expected and a great thing that there is a strong sisterhood bond between women who have met Anne 🥰

After Anne of Green Gables, there was a sequel "Anne of Avonlea" and a spin-off series: Road to Avonlea.

Another of Montgomery's book series, Emily of New Moon was also made into a TV series.

The producer, Kevin Sullivan, created a separate series that evoked the same spirit called "Wind at My Back. I should have told you about these tv shows when lockdown was going on.

Oh yes, there were times when I had a hard time finding a series to watch during the quarantine period. I would like to watch it as soon as possible 🤗
