The bottles that save lives

in hive-185836 •  last year

On one occasion I noticed how some trees were drying up completely during the dry season, so I developed an ecological technique from the moment I transplanted a future tree.

The technique consists of making a hole about 60 centimeters deep, then filling it with 20 centimeters of fertilizer and sand, burying the future tree on that soil, in this way we will ensure that the water filters to the bottom of the hole.

In addition to what was explained in the previous paragraph, I usually bury a plastic bottle next to the stem with several holes at the bottom. I fill that bottle with water, this way the liquid will come out and distribute to the bottom of the hole very close to the roots.

I use this technique especially in places where the land is not very fertile and water is scarce in the dry season. It has given me excellent results because I can bring water once a week, preventing the trees from suffering from extreme drought.

I believe that it is a technique that many people should use, it allows you to save water by getting it directly to the roots without wasting it.
