Marigold is known for its bright and beautiful colour, it is classified as tagetes, a herbaceous plants (asteraceae) in the sunflower family known as the daisy family.

Reason Why It Is My Best

  • It is very easy to plant,
  • needs a lot of sunlight and warm soil to keep it blooming, in that case you don't do much watering in hot summer.
  • Its really a nice choice of flower you can put in your garden because it keeps mosquitoes away because of its scent.

Types of Marigold

There are various types of Marigold which are:

  • Hero orange Marigold
  • Little hero Marigold
  • Bonanza Marigold
  • Queen Sophia Marigold
  • Safari Scarlet Marigold
  • Bounty Marigold
  • Yellow jacket Marigold
  • Signet Marigold
  • Tiger-eyez Marigold
    Etc.
The bounty Marigold is my kind of flower because it is so beautiful.

  • Make sure each seeds are given 2 to 3 inches apart.
  • It should be planted on a sun-full environment as Marigold flowers blooms in a hot summer.

SOME CONDITIONS TO CONSIDER
There are some conditions you have to consider before planting Marigold

  • Don't plant on a shady and cool place, it will wither
  • If people enter into your garden often, don't plant Marigold on the garden for the first 2 , plant it indoor.
  • Some species of Marigold are planted 10 inches apart like the African species.
