Hungarian Cuisine: Goulash ⚡ #club100

Hi Steemians 🍵
I and my friend Darta went to dinner at a historic restaurant. She is Latvian, we wanted to taste different dishes apart from our own food culture. I preferred the famous Hungarian dish, Goulash, and she preferred the famous Czech Smazeny. Smazeny is made from a special fried cheese. Our first experience was quite enjoyable for both of us. Also, the presentations looked very nice 👌

I will talk about Goulash. The way of presentation was very interesting. They used a large bread as a plate and I loved it. The most important part is that the food is delicious. Another thing as important as taste is its appearance.

As you can see on the left, it is brought to the table covered. It's such a cute and chubby loaf. It looks exciting because it is not visible inside. Bread is stone oven bread. I can say that it is a dense bread.

Before opening the lid of bread, it is difficult to guess that there is liquid food inside. Because the bread was not wet.

When I opened the lid of the bread, a wonderful sight greeted me. There was hot steam, even though it wasn't visible in the photo. It contains beef, onion, garlic. As a spice, there are red pepper powder, black pepper, thyme, cumin and bay leaves.

I took a photo of it without damaging its shape. This is exactly my style 😄 Then I mixed the food and tasted it. It was very suitable for my taste. That's why I liked it a lot.

The all-you-can-eat plate is the best 😆 The food was quite filling, so I couldn't eat my whole plate. Btw, the bread was also very tasty. I mean, it was the most delicious plate I've ever eaten 😄

Here is the fate of my big meal 😋

Goulash is also served on a normal plate. But I always prefer the most extraordinary service within the bounds of possibility 🙃

I hope you all enjoyed reading my post.

Oh, that must have been delicious. And what a coincidence, today I cooked Hungarian goulash. With hot peppers, mushrooms and lots of garlic.

We ate the goulash with homemade spaetzle. There was steamed Romanesco as a vegetable side dish.

Wow, what a nice coincidence 😄 The goulash you cooked looks very delicious 🤗 I love mushrooms as well. I hadn't heard of the Romanesco vegetable before and googled it. It looks very artistic 👌

Yummy and with selfmade Spaetzle a no- brainer ;-)

This looks very nice.
I have often seen soup served in bread. It is especially good because you can eat the bread in addition to the soup.
It also goes well with goulash-soup. Personally, I also like goulash-soup very much, as well as goulash with potato or noodles... 😀

Yes, goulash with potatoes is also good. Also, it is nice with Czech bread dumplings as well 👌 I am glad that you commented as a goulash lover 🤗

Special food you enjoy, I love to see your favorite food, the menu is perfect. @enveng.

@eveng I have always said that the typical food of each person is worth trying and savoring, for me it is my own culture, and one should always be proud, how delicious the dish looks.Greetings, I hope to see more dishes through photos.

I totally agree with you that different cuisines are worth experiencing. Let's keep discovering new cuisines 🤗
