Blue is one of my favorite colors. And also many people’s favorite colors.
It has been used widely by people for many purposes such as their brands, logos, clothing e, etc.
In this contest, I'll be talking about the different contexts where blue is used and what they denote.
Blue has a special meaning when it comes to love and relationships. It is believed to stand for FIDELITY AND LOYALTY. Some couples like to use blue in their matching outfits or even the color of the day during their wedding ceremonies.
It is because of this reason that American brides wear something blue on their wedding day. It is their way of saying they will stay faithful to the marriage.
Blue can also be used to describe one's mood, facial expressions, and state of being. It is usually used this way “feeling blue”. For example;
You look blue, what’s wrong?
Looking blue or feeling blue can mean being sad, depressed, low, and unhappy.
In life, blue also denotes peace and tranquility.
It denotes calmness. And trust in people too.
That's why people love using blue as their brand color because it stands for trust.
An example is the Coca-Cola brand which uses blue as their brand color.
They are in a way telling the public to trust them.
The first thing that blue makes us think of is water. With 71% of the planet covered in it and 60% of our bodies made of water, it is our essence.
We can also see blue in the sky. The sky is blue and is very beautiful.
