Hello guys, I am so delighted writing this contest and this is my first time in this community. Although I was fortnate to see this contest today, so I don't know or can't tell if I am late or not but I just wanted to try writing an imaginative story about "UNDER THE MOON".
Right from time, the moon as always signified so many beautiful and interesting moment. I remember when I was young, when the moon was out, we will all run out of the house to play with our peers, I have read stories of wolves meeting their life partner during the appearance of the full moon, it also signifies period of happiness, love and fun.
Anita woke up panting from the horrible dream she has always had since she was young and the dream won't stop hunting her. Before the death of her parents, they had gone to all kinds of doctors and used all kinds of medicine and fetich just to cure her of her mysterious dream but they won't stop coming.
She was told by their seer that she has to wait for the full moon to appear before she will be cured and relieved of this dream and it is taking forever for their full moon to appear. She hasn't stopped praying to the moon goddess to grant her the one wish she ever wished for and cure her of these mysterious dreams but it is taking years for the arrival of the full moon.
This fateful night, while she was scared of closing her eyes, she tried to make herself busy and tried drinking all kinds of tea to help her stay awake because she was afraid she was going to dream about the monster man who has always tried to kill her in her dream for this past years, she was so engrossed in her thought that Anita did not realize that the moon goddess had answered her prayer.
The full moon was out, but she already drifted to sleep on her study chair while trying to stay awake. Her phone rang which woke her, she felt strange, thinking that she has slept for hours now without dreaming about the monster. She ran to her window and without waiting, opened her blinds. There and then, she saw the full moon in its glory.
Tears ran down Anita's cheek as she never believed that she would be alive to see this day when her nightmare will finally stop coming to hunt her. She closed back her window blind and went back to sleep peacefully.
Anita was able to sleep peacefully because of the rising of the full moon which she was under and it has come to protect her from her mysterious dream. She couldn't stop thanking the moon goddess and the moon for saving her life.
