Blue hour in Vologda

I've always wanted to take pictures at the blue hour or in another way, twilight. There is something about this period of the day when everything turns blue after sunset. This is, by the way, my favorite color.

The blue hour is different in clear and cloudy weather.

Twilight also looks different in different seasons.

The bluest of all blue hours appears in winter, as the white snow turns into cold tones.

It turns out that not only the sky is blue, but everything around is blue!

I used to shoot urban landscapes only at this time.

For several days in a row, I watched the onset of dusk from the window of my office, and there, it felt like it were coming fast.

After going outside at about the right time for the blue hour, I got tired of waiting for everything to turn blue.

Apparently, our eyes adapt to the light outside, and the internal white balance built into our vision corrects all shades.

Or, from the window, the blue hour is felt more strongly in contrast with the artificial lighting of the room.

And yet the blue hour has arrived. The main thing now is to catch the plots until it gets completely dark.

The blue hour in winter lasts about forty minutes...or an hour. There's a reason they called him that.

But the most atmospheric twilight is, of course, in the cold!
