How the frame was born

Lately, I rarely write any educational posts or tell specifically about the process of photographing. This time I want to tell you how this or that frame is born.

In this case, I will tell you how I came to the picture, which is the title in this post. I wanted to make a beautiful postcard view of the church and have some blooming twig as a frame.

First, there was a search for the necessary tree with flowers. There are few of them in this place. Lighting should be an important condition.

After I found the right angle and the right tree, I started looking for the right branch.

But I was not satisfied with the wires, or the lack of land.

Or the necessary framing did not work out.

And if you choose the layout of the frame without framing, then the plot turned out to be boring.

It is necessary to fill the frame from all sides, including covering part of the empty sky.

And if you add more people, then the plot becomes more lively.

To get rid of the wires, I chose another branch and walked closer to the church.

Something started to work out, but I was confused by the road sign, which spoiled the whole composition.

If you hide the sign behind the foliage, it gets better and the sky is filled...but something is missing.

And if we move the church to the other side of the frame? Then a fence fits into the frame on the right, although in general, too, nothing.

Still, the previous option is better, you just need to sit down lower so that you can see the road and the church is not covered with leaves.

Well, now we are waiting for a human. Less than half a minute later, a girl in light clothes appeared! This is what you need!

You always see the finished result - a beautiful postcard, but no one usually shows the intermediate frames. It took no more than 10 minutes to create this image. Since the shooting was done manually at night, about a hundred takes were made in serial shooting.
